  1. As CGN continues to grow and we become larger. We are looking for any types of Suggestions you all may have to increase our Membership and Better Connect you Gamers. So if you have any please feel free to respond below!
  2. #suggestion We need a scheduling system for our videos when we upload. Let's create one. The suggestions we make should be for the good of CGN and not follow the destruction of creators like YouTube's doing right now. In fact, I want to concentrate on uploading my videos on the weekends, so I don't spam everyone with 5 - 10 videos a day. I'm open to any feedback to improve , I await you.

    Partner Emojis

The suggestion that a partner can have one custom emoticon that everyone can use on the site!
  4. Greetings friends of the interwebs and supporters of CGN, I would like to get some suggestions in on what you want to see listed in the Marketplace. Already we have a few designers in there and the competition is growing for them as well.
  5. Hi. So i just wanted to post some suggestions for the cgn app. Somethings i would like to see in the future 1. Notifications like status updates and stuff. I noticed unless u get it in your email you have no idea unless your on the site. 2. Be able to post a video or stream or status update. The stuff you can do on the site. 3. Be able to view streams and videos from the phone. 4. Maybe add the groups. I dont want the app the be a carbon copy of the website but i feel usually more people are on there phone than a computer and instead of having the use the website from a phone web browser it could have some of this stuff in the app. I think it will boost connectivity and interaction between gamers. I know i do everything on my phone and use my labtop just for videos and it gets annoying sometimes to get my computer just to check a few things. Just my suggestions. What would you guys like to see or what do you think of my post. Do you use the app? lets start a new conversation
  6. I didn't see a need in boosting my post count so here they are Bugs/errors: When doing certain things in the profile I get: Error code: EX1052 Suggestions: Ability to add signatures Ability to embed videos in forum posts When a youtube account gets connected automatically transfer videos over or ability to fix up member of the week sidebar current look: notice that it says, member of the month in description but the title says member of the week. Feedback: When I first saw cgn on twitter I assumed it was just another retweet page or freedom network. Then I suddenly noticed the bio and came here and noticed instantly it was a beautiful social network using Invision Power Services which I have used Invision Power Services for forums in the past and the layout is just insane. The profile is sorta like Xenforo(another website software) however better. The fact that cgn somehow edited it into a social network is insane. The theme is dark and looks really well. Pros: Custom Theme Paid Software Active Custom Features Great layout Friendly Cons: A few bugs
  7. Hey everyone, About a week and a half ago, I started a new stream series called the Steam Library Challenge, where my goal is to put a satisfactory amount of play time (not necessarily to completion because dear god...) on every game in my Steam Library. If you go look at my profile for a moment, you'll see that this is quite a task - between Humble Bundle and Steam sales, my library piled up quick. That being said, I'm super hyped to be exploring new games and really broadening the scope of what I play on stream. I know my immediate limitation is that because of my work schedule, it's really difficult for me to stream more than like...twice a week (usually in the morning before 11:30am or on my Wed/Thurs off days). My shift change in a few weeks should help that out, but for now, I know my schedule has hit my streaming ability kind of hard. What I'm looking for right now are suggestions to help get viewers involved in the challenge and to bring in new friends to the stream. I'm now on my second week of hosting a vote on Twitter for the big central game we play for the week, which has been kind of cool to see what people are interested in. I'd just like to be able to do more to reach people, and do more to make my stream a little more appealing. Not saying I'll change my fundamentals per se, but add some flair and sharpen my stuff, you know? In the process of getting ankhbot set up, so that will help with some involvement, but I know there's always something I can do to improve. I appreciate all feedback, praise or criticism, and I'm happy to hear out your thoughts on what I can do to improve. Thanks for your time, have a great day!
  8. So I am fairly new to streaming and I seem to be having a hard time gaining new viewers. I was on a roll and gaining lots of followers at first, in fact the one night I had over 70 viewers and 100 follows in like a 30 minutes period. Although its been a few weeks and I am gaining viewers and followers very slowly, because of this I was wondering what you guys look for. I know that personality, humor, and quality are very important, but it would be easier for me to give what the public wants if I had better details on what I can do. Please give me some advice if you can, it would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Hey the CGN! I'm relatively new here (joined in November 2015), but I've been on YouTube for over 2 years now. When I started out I did a lot of Indie Games, and I've moved away from that quite a bit since. It's been so long that I'm now totally out of the loop.. I was wondering if anyone had played (or heard about) any awesome looking indie games that are out or about to come out?? I've looked on IndieDB, of course, but since there's a whole community of gamers here I thought it'd be a waste not to ask people who are proably far more in the know than I am. Also, it means that the community can dictate which games I play - something I've always wanted on my channel! Any ideas would be really welcome! Thank you guys! 10. I'm new, let me get that out of the way. With that in mind, take what I say however you want. I hope that I am right but I very well could be wrong on some things that I say below. Leave a comment and let me know! As a new streamer and long time gamer and viewer, here are some things that I believe make and/or break the streaming experience for both you and the viewer. *Note: I may be preaching to the choir and some things may sound redundant, and if so I apologize for just adding to the obvious. 1. Actively interact with the viewers. A lot of streamers that I watch will simply react to the chat. I try my best to ask the viewers questions, like where they are from, and then ask them more questions based on the answers they give. This has always given me new followers and I have seen an increase (small at the moment but an increase is still an increase!) in the viewer retention as well. 2. Be energetic! I have seen some bigger streamers, on was almost at 900 followers, who was just awkward because he wouldn't really talk at all. He would stare at the game, his mouth would hang open, and you could hear him breathing hard into the mic. The chat was going, but they were talking more amongst themselves than to the streamer. Haha, it was uncomfortable! When I stream, I try to be ultra energetic (caffeine, baby!). Not annoying, but energetic. 3. Play games with the viewers. I did this one once, and it was a BLAST! The viewer had a ton of fun, and so did I! That viewer turned into a follow and they now stop by every week and stick around for an hour or two watching and chatting. I will be doing this more often because of how much fun it was for both parties, so I would recommend it. 4. Collab with other streamers. I do this one once a week, and it is also super fun! It has proven to be really successful for the both of us. It gives us both exposure to a larger group of people who otherwise we probably wouldn't have reached. Not only is collaborating good for gaining more views and followers, but it is also good for making new friends in the streaming community! I hope that these tips, although from a new guy, can be helpful to someone. These are simply what I have noticed from watching for a long time and streaming for a short time. Feel free to leave a comment with more suggestions as I am certain there are PLENTY of things I missed! XD Have an awesome day everyone and I will be back soon!
  11. Let's Get Spoopy! Hey Guys! I'm making this post so we can discuss what kind of Horror games you'd want to play, want to see someone play, or think is super fun for October. I plan on streaming only horror games for the month of October as I am a HUGE Halloween Fanatic as well as a HUGE Crybaby when it comes to horror games. I think it would make for a hilarious stream! What are your ideas for October? Are there any games you think would be perfect? I'm not big on mainstream games, that being said, Can you suggest any Indie games? Lets discuss! ------------------------------------------------- My lineup so far: 1. Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs (reg. $19.99) 2. Slender: The Arrival (reg $9.99) 3. Cry of Fear (free) 4. Five Nights at Freddy's (reg. $4.99) 5. Outlast (reg $19.99)
