Ready Set Indie Game Presents: Forager Part 3

This Video isn't Quite as long as some of the others in the series. Therefore, I didn't add the Lonplay to the title. In this Gameplay Series from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Forager on PC. Forager is a game that originally got it's start on itch.io and won second place in a game jam hosted by YoYo Games. It was from itch.io that I fell in love with this game and was really excited about the full release of it. The game is very simple you build, you craft, and you get to wear awesome top hats. If you are fans of games such as Stardew Valley you may want to give this game a spin. If you enjoy what you see please feel free to pick it up on the following platform(s): PC/Linux {Steam} $19.99 USD https://store.steampowered.com/app/751780/Forager/ Humble Bundle $19.99 USD https://www.humblebundle.com/store/forager?hmb_source=search_bar Q1 2019 Nintendo Switch https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/forager-switch/
  2. Episode 1 in what I've called slam shorts, I hope you like

  5. In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays One Finger Death Punch 2 on PC. One Finger Death Punch 2 is the hit sequel to One Finger Death Punch. In One Finger Death Punch 2, you go on an Epic Journey to fight against baddies, they start of as people with no eyes and evolve from there. The main thing I enjoy I about this game is that there is no button mashing really in the game, and the controls are really simple. In fact, if you do button mash the game calls you out on it, which I thought was awesome. If you would like to play One Finger Death Punch 2 you can do so on the following platform(s): {Steam} $7.99 (On Sale for $5.99 until April 22, 2019) https://store.steampowered.com/app/980300/One_Finger_Death_Punch_2/ The game is playable on PC only.
  6. In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 Plays Deck of Ashes. Deck of Ashes is a game that fans of Darkest Dungeon and slay the Spire can enjoy. In Deck of Ashes you play as one of the heroes who is being sent to put an end a curse. In order to due this you have to move across the land and battle monsters with a deck of cards. The art style was very Darkest Dungeon to me, but the game does play like Slay the Spire. I really enjoyed the game a lot and am looking forward to playing more of it. If you would like to give this game a try you can do so on the following platform(s): {Steam} $14.99 USD https://store.steampowered.com/app/1016730/Deck_of_Ashes/ The game is playable on PC.

    What Game Would You Remake???

Most games that we play, we can only travel back into the past to experience them again via their designated consoles of that era, or we can find some sort of emulation for them to mimic the experience, yet it still lacks the magic that the original game and setup had captured. A lot of games from older times have been issued through services that allow you to pay a subscription to play them on the current hardware, but have you ever thought of a specific game in particular that you'd give anything to have brought to life again for the current time, with better gameplay, visuals, and replay-ability? Back when Rockstar Games had released GTA V, the next holy grail of open world games, I was shocked by how much of the original game in that location--GTA: San Andreas--had been implemented into this new, fresh take. Then after getting so used to playing it, I started thinking about the first GTA game that I ever purchased, Vice City. I remember how that game blew my mind, being from the east coast myself, and having a good time experiencing where I lived, but in a video game. Needless to say, I spent a lot of time on there fucking people up with katanas and running over elderly people as I was on my way to jump out of a car that had a hooker in it. I feel as though they could obviously remake that game, with better everything and not set back in the 1980s. Well, I guess it wouldn't count as a remake, being that they'd give it another title and have a different set of characters much like the previously mentioned games. In terms of a game that I'd like to see completely brought back with everything intact--from story to characters to locations--I'd have to go with games like Devil May Cry 3, Assassin's Creed 2, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Crash Tag Team Racing, The Simpsons Hit & Run, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (The one that's good), etc, etc. Too many of them to name really, but a bunch of those just have a great level of nostalgia for me. They have all kinds of remakes now that vary from games like Spyro The Dragon to Resident Evil 2 to the upcoming (probably for another decade) Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Other games have just been given new releases into their franchises after what feels like forever, like the late Kingdom Hearts 3. You'd think that some of these developers would be excited about the idea of recreating their older masterpieces, but I guess that also comes with other legalities and such that probably make the process harder to do than to just make something new entirely. Sure, there's also things like backwards compatibility that could at least allow us to replay those games as they are, but that concept isn't that lenient right now--at least, not on the level that we're all imagining. What game would you remake and what new additions would you add to it? Comment!

  9. In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Lonesome on PC. In this exciting western rpg demo (that was way to short in my opinion), You travel across the old frontier slaying skeletons, questing, and leveling up. If you are a fan of games like diablo or d&d this game is most definitely up your alley. I really enjoyed playing this Demo and I hope there will be a full release of this game, because I wanted a whole lot more of it. I hope that the developer would consider putting this on Kickstarter to get this funded because I would play it and support it. If you would like to play Lonesome for yourself you can get it from the following platform(s): https://goldenaxegames.itch.io/lonesomegame Free You can support the game on it's patreon at: patreon.com/LonesomeGame The Game is playable on PC, macOS, Linux.
  10. In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 Plays Western Lion on PC. Western Lion is a game in which you have to shoot 10 drinking glasses in the fastest time possible, as your character becomes more intoxicated. I thought the game was fun and the game I believe was made for a game jam on itch.io, but one of the things I would have liked as a feature would have been the ability to see how many glasses you could shoot before one hit the ground. There is also another game with a fly, that I wasn't exactly sure what was supposed to happen in the game. So I spent a lot of time playing the shooting game for this. If you would like to play Western Lion you can get the game from the following platform(s): https://fahien.itch.io/western-lion Free The game is playable on PC, macOS, Linux.

Lamparina is a puzzle game in which you play as what appears to be a young disciple who must navigate the castle by solving puzzles using just a lantern. There are actually 11 levels to the game. If you would like to play Lamparina you can get it from the following platform(s): https://lukbebalduke.itch.io/lamparina Free The game is playable on PC.
  12. In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Flynn: Son of Crimson Demo on PC. Flynn: Son of Crimson is a game that was funded on Kickstarter Back in October 2017. This is just the demo for the game in which you guide Flynn through what looks like to be the tutorial of the game. The game is also similar to Castlevania games. You play as a hero who must maintain their base and complete the objective giving to you. The game is still in early access, and the game is fun but the only thing is I would love to have some music as it would help feel in some of the dead air that the game seem to have for me. In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Nova Drift on PC. Nova Drift is a shoot em up, that is really beautiful. 24. At a press conference today, Google officially announced their new video game platform, Stadia, which delivers instant access to your favorite games on any type of screen— TV, laptop, desktop, tablet or mobile phone. The platform, which doesn’t require a traditional box or console, will debut later this year and have games available in 4K and at 60 frames per second. When players use Stadia, they’ll be able to access their games at all times, and on virtually any screen. And developers will have access to nearly unlimited resources to create the games they’ve always dreamed of. It’s a powerful hardware stack combining server class GPU, CPU, memory and storage, and with the power of Google’s data center infrastructure, Stadia can evolve as quickly as the imagination of game creators. Data centers make Stadia possible, but what sets the system apart is how it works with other Google services. In a world where there are more than 200 million people watching game-related content daily on YouTube, Stadia makes many of those games playable with the press of a button. If you watch one of your favorite creators playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, simply click the “play now” button.Seconds later, you’ll be running around ancient Greece in your own game/on your own adventure—no downloads, no updates, no patches and no installs. The Stadia controller will have a direct connection from to the data center through Wi-Fi for the best possible gaming performance. The controller also includes a button for instant capture, saving and sharing gameplay in up to 4k of stunning resolution. And it comes equipped with a Google Assistant button and built-in microphone. Stadia will launch later this year in the US, UK, Europe, and Canada. Stadia Official Reveal
