Hey guys, i used to be an active member of this community a long long time ago but i kind of forgot about it. I'm back today to bring your attention on an upcomming game which is currently in development. If you liked Ultima Online and other Sandbox style fantasy MMOs back in the days, this might be the game for you. I'm not so good at describing things so i will leave a article from MassivelyOP and the actual game's website for you to discover : Massevily OP article : https://massivelyop.com/2019/01/05/reworld-lets-you-build-your-own-fantasy-mmo-world/ Reworld Online Website : https://reworldonline.com/
Hey Guys! Been working on this for a bit with my wife and a couple of friends. Feel free to use it for your own channel. Copy and paste, edit and turn it into your own doc. You don't need to give me credit but if you do. Thank you! Mod Manual Welcome to the mod team! It is both a pleasure and a privilege to have you as part of the crew that will moderate my channel to success. I created this manual to explain the standards and regulations that I want upheld so that we can maintain a positive environment on chat. As moderators, your job is not only to regulate but to set the tone and flow of conversation. The philosophy of the channel: For simplicity’s sake, I will refer to myself as the “caster” and people from the mod team as “mods”. To ensure consistency in our actions and conversations on chat, we will adhere to the standards in this manual for quality assurance. Know the basic mod commands - as mods, you will be running into people that can distract or ruin the caster’s ability to entertain. Your job is to anticipate and deal with negative comments as fast and efficiently as possible - preferably before it happens. These basic commands equip you for almost anything that you might have to deal with on a regular basis. Please make sure you are familiar with them. Talk to the caster on a regular basis - Be familiar with what the caster wants to accomplish with his channel. Talk to the caster to make sure you understand what the caster’s goals are both short and long term. Feel free to offer suggestions and raise any visible concerns right away. Keep conversation flowing - Make sure to greet everyone who participates in chat, keep the conversation going, and hyping up the room to enable the caster to respond to whatever is happening as part of the current conversation. It will keep everyone engaged and minimize the caster talking on empty space. Promote the stream whenever possible - Tweet and share the times when your caster is streaming. Use social media effectively to generate a buzz and increase viewership and a potential regular audience in chat. Highlight or clip milestones and important moments - Screenshot milestones and send to caster. Edit videos by highlighting or clipping a moment that can be shared through social media or something that exemplifies the philosophy of the channel. It is the duty of an editor to highlight moments but mods are allowed to clip smaller milestones and funny events. Learn how to add commands using bots - There are moments when you need a command for that. It would help the caster immensely if mods are able to create a command that can adhere to the current situation both temporarily and permanently. Control the tone of chat - Keep chat positive, encouraging and uplifting. Refrain from any kind of pessimism, bullying and otherwise antagonistic behaviour and deal quickly but respectfully with other people who are behaving this way, even if it is the caster himself. Keep it safe - If anything happens that threatens your safety whether it is harassment or verbal abuse, consult the caster privately. The caster will ensure that your privacy is respected and will deal with the problem swiftly. Be there - Nothing makes the caster more happy than to have his mods there not only to moderate but also to participate as viewers. Cheer, talk, and be part of the stream for as much possible. Represent - As a mod you will be representing the channel through your actions in any type of social media interaction. Please make sure that you are always in line with the channel’s philosophy. As my MOD know that I will be backing up your decisions with full support please do not squander this trust by abusing your mod privileges. Also, do not be afraid to call me out [privately] on my actions, I will do my best to own up to any mistakes or harm done while on stream. By signing up as my mod you agree to follow and adhere to the Terms and Conditions stated above as the standard qualifications of moderation.
Most people will be happy with the standard controllers, they will be happy with what the Original Equipment Manufacturers have produced and for the most part they do an amazing job. But for me they only ever get to 90%, i am never satisfied with the original controllers and most of the time it comes down to grip levels i don't want to slide across the joystick, i want my thumb to be one with the joystick and move in sync with one and other, for example if i am pushing up on the joystick to run forwards for long periods i don't want to have to re position my thumb every 15 seconds and if i am playing a fast game that requires quick reactions i want to be able to be precise and fast. So over the years of gaming i have done small modifications to controllers to increase my performance and i am going to share these with you today most of these are easy to do and require little experience but as a disclaimer: Any modifications that you attempt that i have listed below are your own responsibility and may void the warranty for the equipment that you are using if you are unsure on anything don't try this wait and seek help (trust me i have broken lots of stuff learning by trial and error, let someone else do the hard work) Lets get right into this. Joysticks After many years of trying different controller joysticks and off the shelf mods i have finally come up with my perfect solution Aluminium joysticks with a 1 mm recess in the top this recess is important, at first i found the joysticks good around the edges but slippy in the centre. They are also slightly taller than the standard ones meaning better travel and more precise movements. Back to the tops... 100-200 grit sandpaper (choose what ever you feel comfortable with) You would think that this would tear through your soft fingers but from my experience i have had no damage to my fingerprints. The sandpaper gives the best grip i have ever felt and on a side plus greasy fingers from eating don't even change how grippy it is so you can grab that bowl of chips or crisps and dive in to them in the middle of a game and not even have to wipe your hands off (side note you will have a greasy controller that would need cleaning) DPAD and Triggers For these and the buttons my personal recommendation is to use a rough file and create rough surfaces where you will be pressing this then also increases grip the downside to this though is that it makes the controller look slightly displeasing but it works a charm there are a few more extras i will post into a second post if this is something that interests you let me know in the comments below. jobber.
